Increasing Instances Of Human-Animal Conflict In Dooars And Some Portions Of The Darjeeling Hills, Has Become A Matter Of Grave Concern.

Yesterday, A Hit-And-Run Left A Leopard Injured At The Falakata-Birpara Road Near Tasati Tea Garden. The Poor Animal Couldn't Move For The Longest Time, And When People Arrived To Check On It, It Did Finally Manage To Move And Enter The Tea Gardens.

The Local Community That Resides In The Tea Garden Are Now Worried, As Injured Leopards Have In The Past Attacked Livestock And Even Humans.

We Hope The Forest Department Concerned Will Kindly Track The Leopard, And Give It Treatment It Needs Urgently.
