Locals raise anti-GJM slogans when the alleged Nepalese national arrested yesterday in connection with violence in Sukna was produced at the Siliguri court on August 8.
Arrested In Salbari Yesterday, Niten Chhetri Was Produced At The Siliguri Court Today. The Police Have Said That Chettri Was Among Two People Arrested On August 7. Chettri Is A Sukna Local And Has Been Arrested In Connection With The Violence At Sukna On July 29. The Other Person, Uday Fagu, The Police Have Claimed, Hails From Nepal's Ilam District, Which Borders The Pashupati Area Near Mirik. These Arrests Were Made Two Days After The Police Arrested GJM Leader Norbu G Lama From Salugara.
